Principals report STAAR growth, higher attendance and expanding STEM and career programs

Albro said the elementary campus saw increased attendance, including a recent day of 100% attendance, recognized students for regional poster contest achievements, and cited strong community participation at Literacy Night. Albro asked the board for additional resources, field trip opportunities, technology upgrades, and competitive staff compensation to support continued academic gains and the goal of attaining an "A" campus rating.
Dr. Amber White described expanded student exposure to STEM through field trips, robotics and engineering competition participation, a well‑attended college and career fair, and student successes that included placements at regional and state competitions and advancement to the state science fair. She also described new programs and partnerships supporting career pathways, wildlife photography and technical training opportunities.
