The Riviera ISD Board of Trustees approved budget amendment #3 for fiscal year 2025–2026 at the Dec. 17 meeting. Jolynn Moreno, staff member, reported a six-week update noting the district remains under budget for CTE compliance and proposed adding $5,000 to the Digital Media program and $5,000 to the Health Science program to meet a 55% combined CTE spending requirement. Becky Gutierrez, committee member, moved approval; Crystal Ramirez-Garcia seconded and the motion passed 6-0.
Ms. Moreno said the amendment "will bring the projected year-end fund balance to $100,724." The transcript indicates the increases will be added without requiring reductions from other budgeted areas.
