Lumberport council accepts requisition for IJDC water improvement project

Councilmember Micheal Stire moved to accept the requisition; Judy Clevenger seconded and the minutes record the motion as carried. Mayor Lexi Mayfield said a follow-up meeting on the ongoing water project will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. to discuss next steps.

The council also discussed related meter work the engineering firm flagged at the meeting and noted further conversations with QWS and Thrasher Engineering will be scheduled.
