David Longoria, chief financial officer for Raymondville I.S.D., reported the district's March 2026 tax collections and investment positions during the board's monthly report. "The Tax Collector’s report indicated a tax levy of $3,611,701 million which $3,154,241 was collected at the rate of 83.33% for the month of March 2026," the board record shows; Longoria also reported the district's total investments were $3,197,730 as of March 31, 2026.
The figures were presented as part of the Business/Financial Report and included the district's investment portfolio, revenues and expenditures and a list of operating checks for March. The board did not ask for additional action on the financial report during the meeting. Note: the transcript lists the tax levy as "$3,611,701 million," which appears to be a typographical error; amounts quoted above are presented as stated to the board and are flagged for clarification in public records.
