Raymondville ISD approves MOUs, insurance renewal, RFP solicitations and an annual award on consent agenda

The Raymondville ISD Board approved a package of consent items covering interagency agreements, insurance renewal, procurements and awards. Approved items included a Mutual Aid Agreement for Complex Emergency Response and Investigation Planning; a Memorandum of Understanding between the Raymondville ISD Police Department and the City of Raymondville Police Department; and a Memorandum of Understanding with Communities Advancing Support and Awareness Coalition (CASA).
Trustees also approved renewal of the district’s property and casualty insurance coverage with Property Casualty Alliance of Texas (PCAT) and Coastal Property Alliance of Texas (CPAT) with payment to Carlisle Insurance Agency for the renewal premium. The board authorized solicitations for annual RFPs for district-wide charter bus services, HVAC supplies/equipment/services, and licensed electrician contracted services, and awarded RFP#25-007 for general merchandise, services and school-related products, all as recorded on the consent agenda. Votes on consent items were recorded as 6–0 in favor (one trustee absent).
