The superintendent said summer projects are progressing and highlighted several near-term facility tasks, including sidewalk work, door repairs and floor refinishing. "Mister Fichal should be starting the sidewalk here in the next couple weeks," the superintendent said, and noted that two exterior doors at the football field already have been replaced and will be reframed to open north to reduce wind damage.
Board members and a contractor discussed logistics and privacy/code considerations for the restroom door at the football field and confirmed floor refinishing scheduled for the 27th and 28th. The superintendent also noted staff will prepare communications about temporary access changes (for example, using a back door) while work is completed.
