Student representative reports college signings, competition wins and December activities

At the Dec. 10 meeting the student representative, Ava, updated the board on student activities. She said six seniors committed to colleges in a recent Signing Day; 70 junior and senior high students competed in the Junior Achievement Titan Business Challenge at NTC, where the district’s teams earned first and second places and will advance to the state-level competition.
Ava described student-council plans for December including a month-long dress-up schedule with weekly prize drawings and a grand prize of privileged parking near the main doors, and an assembly before winter break that will feature games such as present stacking and an ornament relay.
