The Roma ISD Board of Trustees approved employment and resignation items for district professionals and paraprofessionals at the Dec. 17 meeting after Superintendent Carlos M. Gonzalez, Jr. presented the personnel actions. The motion to approve was made by Mary Lou G. Cruz and seconded by Jaime Escobar; the minutes record the motion as carried 7-0.
Earlier in the meeting President Ricardo A. Perez announced that all board members had completed required School Board Continuing Education. Mrs. Yadira A. Barrera moved to formally approve the board members’ training requirements and Mr. Iv Garza, Jr. seconded; the minutes show unanimous approval.
