Rockwall ISD board adopts policy updates, financial reports and consent items

The Rockwall ISD Board of Trustees approved a package of local policy updates and the consent agenda during the Jan. 20 meeting. The board approved policy updates AF, DEC, DGBA, EB, EEP, FNG and GF after a motion by Dr. Bart Miller and a second by Stan Britton; the motion passed 6-0 with one absence recorded.
Separately, the board approved the consent agenda, which included minutes of Dec. 15, 2025 sessions; December 2025 financial highlights, reports and investment report; personnel resignations and employment; designation of non-business days for purposes of the Texas Public Information Act; and approval of Off-Campus Physical Activity (OCPA) agencies for Spring 2026. Amy Hilton moved approval of the consent agenda; Grant DuBois seconded and the motion passed 6-0 with one absence.
