Assistant Superintendent Tiffany Whitsel told the Board the district was awarded the LASO Cycle 4 Leadership & Instructional Foundations for Texas (LIFT) grant, which will provide Rockdale ISD with $425,000 annually through 2029 to support math instruction for grades 6–12.
Whitsel said the grant is intended to strengthen classroom instruction through teacher support, lesson planning and data-driven practices intended to improve student outcomes in middle and high school math.
