Separately, trustees approved an interlocal agreement to access cooperative purchasing through Region One Education Service Center; Ms. Moreno described the Child Nutrition Program's plan to join the South Texas Co-op so the district can receive rebates or year-end returns without changing vendors. The agreement is free to join and is intended to reduce costs amid declining enrollment.
