Trustees also updated FNCE (LOCAL) to reflect 2025 legislative changes governing student personal communication and electronic devices; Teresa May moved the revision and it passed unanimously. For library materials, the board adopted an alternate EFB (LOCAL) process recommended by TASB that relies on library staff vetting and parent controls (Follett and Sora) rather than forming a new advisory committee. Board members cited efficiency and existing safeguards in supporting the changes.
