Riviera ISD board approves budget amendment tied to stipend changes

On Sept. 24 the Riviera ISD Board unanimously approved Budget Amendment #1 for fiscal year 2025–2026. Teresa May moved the motion and Becky Gutierrez seconded; the motion passed 5–0 with one member absent. Superintendent Jolynn Moreno told trustees the only amendments in this filing were those directly related to the non-coaching stipend updates approved earlier in the meeting.
Board members said they would continue reviewing budget impacts of the stipend changes and other district priorities during the usual budget process; no additional amendments were introduced at the meeting.
