Rice CISD board accepts election certificate, administers oaths and retains officers

The Rice Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously accepted the certification of election results at its May 18 regular meeting. "Bill Ishee moved and Nicole Owers seconded the motion to accept the certification of election results," the minutes state, and the motion carried with no dissent.
Jenny Rodgers and Chriss Schiurring were administered the Oath of Office for Rice CISD board members; the minutes record "Oath of Office to Elected Board Members" with no other action. The board then reorganized its officers: Joe Romo moved and Nicole Owers seconded a motion to keep the current officers — Jason Pausewang as president, Joe Romo as vice president and Bridget Belman as secretary — and the motion carried unanimously.
