The Maroa Forsyth CUSD 2 strategic planning session on Nov. 6, 2025 opened with the board calling the meeting to order at 6:06 p.m. and recording a roll call that listed Parker, Feinstein, Wise, Lidy and Crawford as present and Conway and Zuniga as absent. The group reviewed and approved a new Mission, Vision and Motto: "Cultivate a learning environment that empowers all students to reach their unique potential" (Mission); "To be the premier destination district" (Vision); and the Motto: "Excellence and Pride."
The session also recorded that "Consensus was reached on: Mission, Vision, Core Values (6)." Board members and staff discussed the significance of approving values now and returning later with specific action steps. The meeting minutes list the board members present and note follow-up work to refine the wording before final implementation.
