During the Oct. 16 strategic planning session, participants reviewed six core areas identified in the district's community survey: Academic Rigor and Alignment; Equity, Inclusion, and Fairness; Student Well-Being and Mental Health; Communication and Community Engagement; Facilities and Extracurricular Balance; and Staffing and Retention. The items were presented as the foundation for refining district goals and alignment work.
The meeting used the six areas to guide group work on mission and vision language. The minutes do not record public comments or external stakeholders speaking to these priorities during the session; follow-up meetings were scheduled to further refine objectives tied to these areas.
