Ropes ISD accepts resignation and extends administrators' contracts with raises

Later the board entered executive session to review administrators' contracts. After returning to open session, the board approved one-year extensions and raises for Elementary Principal Brandi Forsythe, Middle School Principal Stephanie Taylor, High School Principal Tim Carter, and Athletic Director Beau Riker. The motion to extend contracts and approve raises was moved by Keila Ketchersid, seconded by Blake Thrash, and carried unanimously among trustees present. The minutes record entry to executive session at 6:55 PM and exit at 8:29 PM.
