Council consents to Cook County Class 6B renewals for local properties
Summary
Council approved two consent items: Ordinance 26-O-2437 consenting to a Class 6B renewal for 3950 W. 155th St. (Royal Crance Service) and Resolution 26-R-767 for properties at 3052 & 3062 W. 167th St. (Lanigan Properties). Both votes were unanimous.
On March 18 the Markham City Council agreed to consent to Cook County Class 6B property tax incentive renewals for two separate property owners. Ald. Barron moved to waive reading and adopt Ordinance 26-O-2437 consenting to renewal for 3950 W. 155th Street (PIN 28-14-300-015-0000), owner/developer Royal Crance Service, Inc.; the motion passed 4-0.
The council also adopted Resolution 26-R-767 consenting to renewals for PINs 28-24-308-005-0000 and 28-24-308-006-0000 (3052 and 3062 W. 167th Street), owner Lanigan Properties, Inc., by a unanimous vote. Council did not record objections; the items were presented as consentable renewals in support of local economic development.
