Commission authorizes Hometown Days street dance and alcohol sales for June 13

The Neodesha Area Chamber of Commerce requested city permission to use Stadium Park and Bluestreak Avenue for the annual Hometown Days festival on June 13, 2026. Chamber President Jamie Vail and Administrator Jones discussed the event and the Commission approved use of the park and street.
Because alcohol sales are governed by state rules, the Commission approved RESOLUTION 26-12 authorizing a street dance with alcohol sales at 1 Bluestreak Avenue on June 13, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., provided the Neodesha Area Chamber of Commerce complies with local, state and federal requirements and secures necessary permits from the Kansas Department of Revenue, Alcoholic Beverage Control Division.
