Board approves guaranteed maximum price to begin JV stadium work

Trustees approved a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) to begin earthwork and initial construction for the Red Oak High School JV stadium after staff presented updated timelines and remaining punch-list work for 2023 bond projects. Brent Stanford told the board that some playground and athletic complex work is complete and that the district would seek to move dirt work forward pending planning approvals. “Our goal is to be substantially completed of major projects by the fall of 2027,” Stanford said.
