Board adopts Press Policies in Issues 118–119
Summary
Maroa-Forsyth C.U.S.D. 2 approved multiple board policy updates listed in Press Issues 118 and 119 at its Oct. 14 meeting; the motion passed 6–0. Issue 119 was adopted without optional language concerning referrals to the ROE.
The school board voted unanimously Oct. 14 to adopt the set of board policies included in Press Issues 118 and 119.
The motion by Susie Conway, seconded by Jill Feinstein, approved a long list of policy numbers (for example, 2.260, 4.80, 5.10, 6.150, 7.180, 7.190, 7.200, 7.250, 7.270, 7.310 and others). The record notes Issue 119 was approved without optional language that would refer board members who violate their oath of office to the ROE. The vote was 6–0 in favor.
