The Maroa-Forsyth C.U.S.D. 2 board unanimously approved its consent agenda during the Oct. 14 meeting, accepting minutes, financial reports and several personnel items.
The consent package — approved on a motion by Jill Feinstein and seconded by Matt Crawford — included approval of the Sept. 9, 2025 budget hearing and regular and closed-session minutes, the Sept. 18, 2025 strategic planning session minutes, the district financial report and payment of bills. The board also authorized the destruction of closed-session audio older than 18 months and approved an FMLA request for Lane Ohlemeyer.
Personnel actions in the consent motion included the transfer of Jeff Ohlemeyer to a GS/MS paraprofessional role and the hiring of Tyler Deaton as the high school freshmen basketball coach. The motion passed by a 6–0 vote.
