The minutes record the motion for Terry County: "I move that the Board approve the Joint Election Agreement with Terry County for the November 4, 2025 Special Bond Election, as presented, authorize the Superintendent to execute the Agreement on the District's behalf, and further authorize the Superintendent to take all necessary action related thereto." The motion was seconded and carried 6–0 with one absence.
The board took the same action on a separate resolution for Hockley County, adopting the agreement and authorizing the Superintendent to execute and manage necessary steps for the Nov. 4, 2025 election. Both votes were unanimous among present trustees; no opposition or amendments were recorded in the minutes.
