At 6:04 p.m. the Flambeau School District Board of Education voted to convene a closed session pursuant to Wisconsin law, citing Wis. Stat. 19.85(1)(a), (c), (f) and/or (g) "to consider the possible dismissal of a staff member or, alternatively, to discuss and act on their resignation." The motion was made by Lana Nelson, seconded by Amy Lund, and passed on a roll call vote of 7–0.
The minutes state that the board could deliberate privately and receive legal advice during the closed session; attorney Kirk Strang attended via Zoom.
