Raymondville ISD trustees hold public hearing on 2024'2025 TAPR; adjourn after unanimous procedural vote

Board President John L. Solis called the Raymondville Independent School District Board of Trustees' public hearing on the 2024'2025 Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) to order at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday in the district boardroom. Valdez told trustees that A'F accountability ratings for 2024 and 2025 were released in August 2025 and that the TAPR includes STAAR performance by grade, subject and student group, school progress and growth measures, CCMR indicators such as TSIA and AP/IB/SAT/ACT results, enrollment and demographic breakdowns, and staff and program information. The presentation listed district programs (bilingual/ESL, CTE, gifted and talented, special education), PEIMS financial items and required reporting on violent and criminal incidents under Texas Education Code 39.053.
There were no public comments during the hearing. Trustee Javier Longoria moved to adjourn the hearing; Trustee Veronica Munguia seconded. The motion passed with a 6'0Yea, 0'Nay tally and one absence (Christie Ambriz). The public hearing was adjourned at 6:09 p.m.
