Royse City ISD recognizes All-State musicians, art qualifiers and showcases campus spotlights

The Royse City ISD board recognized students and campus achievements during the March 9 meeting. Nathan White, Director of Choral Activities, recognized TMEA All-State Choir members; the minutes also note that an All-State musician will be recognized at the April 13 meeting. Fine Arts Teacher Caitlin Mahmood recognized RCHS visual art students who qualified for state competition.
Cherry Elementary Principal Emily Hays and Assistant Principal Jennifer Rhodes shared a campus spotlight video; Walker Elementary Principal Teresa Atkins presented a separate campus spotlight video. Separately, Superintendent Dr. Amy Anderson presented the March Gold Standard recognition, which focused on the district's Safety & Security Department.
