Superintendent Mrs. Heid briefed the Sabine Pass ISD Board at the Nov. 10 meeting on several operational items. She said the district's construction project 'are working hard on the project,' reported the middle school football team finished the season with six wins, one loss and one tie, and announced Homecoming activities scheduled Nov. 13–15 and the district's Thanksgiving lunch on Nov. 20.
Mrs. Heid also announced a staffing hire, stating the district 'hired Kagen Lewis to work in our Pup daycare.' No salary or contract terms were recorded in the minutes. The board did not take separate action on these items during the meeting; they were presented as informational updates in the superintendent's report.
