Staff also outlined six change orders (nos. 24–29) tied to mechanical/fire-suppression adjustments and floor demolition/installation at the Spencer County Elementary/middle school project. The net impact of those change orders was reported as $2,130.79; staff recommended approval. Board discussion noted that change orders included deletions (ceiling/fireproofing) and an addition (sprinkler in a mechanical room) after engineering review.
The board received the reports and staff said a few additional pay applications may follow before formal project closeout and state filing.
