Board accepts donor gift to fund gym court projection system

If approved, installation would occur in December with the system ready for use in January; the vendor provides a three-year warranty.
Board members asked about installation, maintenance and ongoing costs; staff said the donors will handle installation and the warranty covers defects for three years, after which the district would decide whether to repair equipment based on cost.
The board moved to accept the donation and recorded affirmative votes; the foundation will manage the purchase and an associated content fund.
