Superintendent: New building on track for Sept. 2026; district to send weekend meals home each Friday

She also described a student food support initiative: "We will be sending every student home each Friday with a breakfast and supper for both Saturday and Sunday." The superintendent added that the district's shop class finished making a "Blessing Box" that will be placed at the Sabine Pass Community Center and that the building's security system "works great."
