The Shallowater ISD Board of Trustees on Feb. 9 approved a resolution to adopt use of Hart Intercivic Verity Duo voting equipment for the May 2, 2026 election. The motion (agenda item 9846) passed unanimously (7–0); the resolution lists Controller version 2.5.3, Writer version 2.5.3, Scanner version 2.5.2 and the Verity Duo GO.
Following that vote, the board approved Exhibit A (the joint early voting schedule and locations) and Exhibit B (Election Day vote centers) as part of the Notice and Order of General Election. Kyla Hamilton moved to approve Exhibit A; Aaron Morris seconded (9847). Alana Hayes moved to approve Exhibit B; Kyla Hamilton seconded (9848). Both motions passed unanimously (7–0).
