Board approves district attorneys and orders general trustee election

Trustees approved the recommended school district attorneys and approved an order calling a general trustee election for seats with expired terms; motions passed unanimously.
During the Jan. 12 meeting the board approved recommended school district attorneys. Trustee Drew Sloan moved to approve the attorneys for the district; Trustee Bobby Bridges seconded and the motion passed 7–0. Board President James Moeller briefly described the purpose of each lawyer after the vote.
In a separate action the board approved an order to call a general election for Board of Trustees members whose terms have expired. That motion, made by Drew Sloan and seconded by Bobby Bridges, also passed unanimously and was entered into the minutes as approved.
