At its Aug. 25 meeting the SANTA GERTRUDIS ISD Board approved several administrative items: budget amendments were approved (motion by Jennifer Cash, seconded by LeeRoy Montalvo) and a blanket year-end 2024-25 budget amendment was approved after a motion by LeeRoy Montalvo and seconded by April Grigg. The board also approved the consent agenda (finance reports, minutes, Kleberg County Appraisal District proposed 2026 budget and estimated certified values for 2025). All votes recorded were 6-0 with one trustee absent.
The board set Nov. 17, 2025 for a public hearing on the FIRST final report (motion made by April Grigg, seconded by Jennifer Cash).
