A representative of the Rockhouse Foundation thanked the court for its support and described the foundation's work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to help them "procure opportunities to be able to do and be the very best that they can." The speaker asked the court to keep individuals and their families in their prayers and noted the timing with National Down Syndrome Day.
The court paused afterward for photos with attendees who came to accept the proclamation.
