The San Isidro ISD Board approved a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Region One Education Service Center for ASCENDER by a 5–0 vote. The motion was made by Aisha Reyes and seconded by Jorge Alvarez Jr.; trustees discussed that additional ASCENDER features would require extra fees and that the current agreement covers only existing services.
During the Business and Finance portion, Presenter Leonel Olivarez reviewed the Tax Collector's Report, the Condition of Funds, and the Expenditure Reports. Trustee Velinda Reyes asked whom taxpayers should contact about lawsuits; Olivarez said taxpayers may contact either him or Linebarger (the district's collection counsel). Trustee Jorge Alvarez requested an update on A/C repairs, including the cafeteria unit; Superintendent Elsa V. Morris said the additional charge reflected prior Board direction to ensure A/C units were cleaned and maintained.
