The WATERVILLE-ELYSIAN-MORRISTOWN Board of Education voted to accept several monetary donations on Nov. 24. The approved resolution included a $1,000 donation from Elysian American Legion Post 311 to WEM Advanced P.E.; the Waterville Lions Club donated $675 to Travis’ Trades Scholarship, $1,300 to Vocational FACS, and $2,025 to the 5th grade Eagle Bluff trip; and the SWWC Service Cooperative gave $1,000 to the WEM PBIS program.
The donations were approved by roll call with five members voting in favor. Board members indicated the gifts will be applied to the named programs and activities as listed in the donation resolution; no conditions or offsets were recorded in the minutes.
