The Child Nutrition representative clarified the difference between a complete meal and a la carte purchases. "The meal price covers exactly 1 complete meal. Snacks, seconds, and other individual items are a la carte, and they're charged separately," the representative said.
Parents may set a la carte purchase restrictions and spending limits, enable low-balance alerts and automatic payments, and view purchase history in SchoolCafe.
