Key points agreed to by councilors included lowering the speed limit on Locust Lane to 15 MPH, designating Locust Lane and portions of Neff Street as one‑way, adding several stop signs, establishing no‑parking sections on Locust Lane and Neff Street, and creating a metered parking zone on the west side of N. Franklin from Cherry St to Locust Lane.
Councilors also approved changing the ordinance's meter rate language from $0.05 per 30 minutes to $0.25. One proposed stop sign (Western Ave northbound at Howard St) was sent for further review. The solicitor will prepare the formal ordinance amendments for future consideration and advertisement.
