Brice Foster moved to approve the voluntary retirement agreement for Dr. Anita Hebert; Bradley Price seconded and the motion passed 7–0. Later in the meeting Foster moved and Alana Hayes seconded a separate motion to name Dr. Aron Strickland as the lone finalist for superintendent; that motion likewise passed unanimously, 7–0. The minutes record both agenda items (9841 and 9842) but do not list an effective date for the retirement or further personnel terms in the posted motion text.
The agenda also includes a formal recognition of Dr. Anita Hebert earlier in the meeting. The board adjourned at 10:00 p.m. following these actions. Administrative staff will carry out any required notices and procedures associated with the retirement and finalist designation.
