Seminole ISD trustees complete Team of 8 governance training

The Seminole Independent School District Board of Trustees met for a Team of 8 training session on March 9, 2026, at the district Administration Building at 207 S.W. 6th Street. President Michael Wood called the session to order at 5:11 p.m.; trustees Lance Wright, Terrie Dickson, Herman Peters, Sean Decker and Dean Ericson were present and Chad Rosalez was recorded absent.
Superintendent Dr. Glen Teal led the training and provided an overview of the Team of 8 governance framework. The minutes state that "each board member received three (3) credit hours toward their annual board training requirements." The session concluded at 6:40 p.m., after which the Board transitioned to its regularly scheduled meeting.
