The Seguin ISD Board of Trustees convened a special meeting on Feb. 11, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the district board room. After the pledges were led by Caleb Dwyer, a fourth-grade student at Koennecke Elementary School, the board confirmed a quorum and opened the floor for public comments; no one had signed up to speak.
During the brief meeting the trustees approved a resolution authorizing the district to pursue the Office of the Governor's Truancy Prevention Grant and then adjourned at 6:06 p.m. The minutes list Trustees Joshua Bright, Lisa Burns, Denise Crettenden, William Dwyer, Alejandro R. Guerra and Grace Mueller as voting in favor; Trustee Linda Duncan was noted as absent. Superintendent Dr. Jack Lee and district student-support staff were present but did not offer public remarks.
