The training focused on the board's self-assessment results and guidance for next steps in board development and governance practice. Minutes record that the board recessed from 7:18 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and then resumed the training. No members of the public signed up to speak during the public comment period. The meeting adjourned at 8:12 p.m. after a motion to adjourn by Joshua Bright and a second from Alejandro R. Guerra; the recorded ayes were Bright, Burns, Crettenden, Duncan, Dwyer, Guerra and Mueller and there were no nays.

Guerra and Grace Mueller; district Superintendent Dr. Jack Lee; TASB consultant Orin Moore; and Nancy Ramirez, superintendent secretary.
