Lake Como council signs off on bills, audit certification and corrective action plan

During its Feb. 4 meeting the Lake Como Mayor and Council approved a slate of finance and administrative resolutions. Resolutions passed include 2025-43 (Salary Resolution), 2025-44 (Payment of Bills), 2025-45 (Payment of NJNG Bill — Councilman Christopher D'Antuono abstained), 2025-47 (Certification of the Annual Audit) and 2025-48 (Corrective Action Plan). Votes were taken by roll call with most measures passing unanimously among members present.
Councilman Douglas Witte offered some of the resolutions and Councilwoman Hawley Scull seconded others as noted in the minutes. The certification of the annual audit and corrective action plan were approved, placing the borough on record as having received and acknowledged the audit and directing any corrective steps described in Resolution 2025-48.
