The Borough Council approved a set of routine administrative and financial items during its Jan. 21 meeting. Resolutions adopted included a temporary budget (Resolution 2025-37) and payment of bills (Resolution 2025-38), as well as a separate resolution to pay the NJNG bill (Resolution 2025-39). The council also introduced Ordinance 2025-1, a first reading to establish the borough's Salary & Wage Guide.
All motions were offered and seconded (makers recorded in the minutes) and carried with Yes votes from Councilmembers Witte, Ventrice and Albala-Doyle. The minutes show no recorded 'No' votes or abstentions; Councilwoman Scull and Councilmen D’Antuono and DeMauro were absent for these actions.
The minutes do not include detailed debate or amendments to the salary-and-wage ordinance; the item was advanced by first reading only and would require subsequent hearings or readings before final adoption.
