Superintendent Elsa Morris explained an annual shared-services agreement with McAllen ISD that would allow San Isidro ISD students to access Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (RDSPD) services if eligible. Trustees approved entering into the agreement (motion by David Garza, seconded by Cecilia Garza; Yea: 7, Nay: 0).
Morris said the agreement is an annual arrangement and will be used only if students qualify for RDSPD supports. Administration will finalize contract terms and implement referral processes when needed.
