The San Elizario Independent School District Board of Trustees met in special session on Oct. 16, 2025, at the SEISD Administration Office, 1050 Chicken Ranch Road. Board President Sandra Licon called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m., conducted roll call and established a quorum. Present trustees were Eduardo Chavez, Monica Chavez, Myrna Hernandez, Sandra Licon, Axel Lopez, Lorenzo Luevano and Alexis Tellez; Dr. Jeannie Meza-Chavez was also recorded as in attendance.
The board's single listed agenda item (3.A) was a Team of Eight training provided by Mr. Juan Cruz “as authorized by 19 Texas Administrative Code Section 6.1.1 (b) (4).” The meeting record shows no public commenters during the Open Forum. Trustee Myrna Hernandez moved to adjourn at 8:02 p.m.; Trustee Monica Chavez seconded the motion and the board voted unanimously (7–0) to adjourn.
