The Select Board approved two donation items at its July 21 meeting: $34,535 to supplement programming at the Ladd Recreation Center and $76.32 for the Aging at Home program.
Chair moved to accept the rec center donations, and Shannon clarified that a portion comes from the Ladd charitable foundation while the remainder reflects summer-program receipts. The motion was seconded and carried. On the Aging at Home donation, Shannon noted there was a single donation of $76.32; the board approved accepting it.
Why it matters: The funds allow staff to add summer programming capacity and support services for older residents. The town will process appropriations through normal accounting procedures and apply the donations to the designated programs.
