Snyder ISD board approves TIP, advisory committees and grant-funded spending

The Snyder ISD Board of Trustees met Dec. 11, 2025, and conducted routine business including approval of the consent agenda and multiple action items. Brad Hinton, board president, called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m., and the board unanimously approved the evening's consent agenda items, including minutes and finance reports.
Trustees approved a Targeted Improvement Plan for Snyder Primary, appointed members to a TIGER advisory committee for elementary reconfiguration and to calendar and support advisory committees for 2026–2027, and approved updates to the district's T‑TESS appraisers list. The board also delegated contractual authority for Purchase of Attendance Credit obligations under specified Texas Education Code sections to the superintendent for the 2025–2026 school year. On the spending side, trustees authorized increasing Frontline expenditures up to $65,000 and approved up-front expenditures of up to $84,000 for early childhood special education (ECSE) professional development tied to a grant; the ECSE funds will be reimbursed to the district.
