Slaton ISD approves several administrator contracts and extensions for 2026–28

The Slaton ISD Board approved one‑year administrator contracts for Kalan Janick, Rode Morrow and Kassidi Stone for the 2026–2027 school year, effective Aug. 1, 2026.
Trustees also approved one‑year contract extensions (through 2026–2028) for April Baucum, Chris Carpenter, Clint Conkin and Kayla Overstreet, effective Aug. 1, 2026, and approved extensions for Felicia Boyd and Margaret Francis through 2026–2028, effective Sept. 1, 2026. Each motion passed unanimously (6–0). The motions were made in open session after the board returned from closed session and were presented as administration recommendations.
