Slaton ISD orders May 2 trustee election; appoints Lubbock County officials, sets early voting location

The board also approved appointment of Roxzine Stinson, Elections Administrator, to serve as Joint Elections Officer and Joint Early Voting Clerk and designated the Elections Office at 1308 Crickets Avenue as the main early voting polling place.
Kara Newcomb moved and Jaime Diaz seconded to approve the slate of election items (V.F.-V.L.); the motion carried unanimously (4-0). The actions set the administrative and logistical framework for the May 2 election for Trustee Districts 3 and 4.
